Attraction Audio Question

I'm curious about some audio for attractions. I know quite a few can be found on Mousebits and several other sites. But, how come it is harder to find source versions of attractions that have been used for several years and there isn't a full source version already?

Take Journey Into Imagination for example. I know that they have a full version of the original 82 audio. Yet there is no full source of the 02 version the only thing that was sourced was the Finale of One Little Spark..

Another one comes to mind is the old TTA Blue Line Audio..There hasn't been any clear verison of the audio. However This is the only audio that is a clear source and it's different from the way it was heard on the former version of the attraction (The Humanoid, Robot, or Alien Passenger part was cut).

I've always been fascinated by the way that audio like this "escapes".
I'm guessing that every case is a little different, but some are especially intriguing to me, such as the way the Horizons .mp3s that are out there start with the voice of an audio engineer describing or naming the track.

Indeed. I'd imagine the right person had access at the right time. Look at anomalies... Horizons complete 1983 ride score broke down scene by scene, but no Animatronics. Imagination mixed with most but not all animatronics. Motion with narration but missing the last scene but with complete area AND load. Energy preshow and exit but no show or area at all. Such a random collection. And nothing from Spaceship Earth save for a few press snippets pre 1994.

I thought Disney released the bgm of World of Motion themselves as tracks for the DisneyWorldForever make-your-own CD kiosk thing.
