ATTN. NY Metro Area Drivers to WDW

I'm thinking of driving to WDW in April with my almost 3 year old son and had a couple of questions:

1 Have you ever taken a kid that young for the drive to WDW? My son is a good passenger and does not get car sick.

2 How did you break up the trip?

3 Did you leave at night or in the morning?

4 Was it worth the it, as compared to the 2 1/2 hour flight?

we drove down in may 2003 with our 4 year old we left at 1am and arrived by 7 that night we drove straight through we only did 2 to 3 stops it was awesome i packed snacks and food and drinks, toys and movies for shawn but what really helped us was leaving at 1am we live in booston by 7 am we already out of ny and ny we hit no traffic and it was great for us
driving saved us enought money and we stayed for 2 weeks at wdw in the park it was so amazing
