Haha. As cheesy as it sounds, I've been using Pinterest a lot to try to figure everything out. The way everything is explained in the booklet I got with the camera is too confusing, so I like that Pinterest can dumb it down for me.

I'm trying though. It's just hard when I'm doing it all on my own, but I'll get it someday, and hopefully "someday" is before I get on that plane.

I actually went out and checked out about every book about Digital Photography there was to check out at my public library. Didnt cost me a dime. After my first DSLR purchase I also got subscriptions to many photography magazines which had great tips and lots of step by step instructions on post editing. Popular Photography and Shuttterbug have been my favorites. Outdoor photographer if you like landscapes.

I'm pretty good with Photoshop, and I know the basics of LightRoom, but I usually do very little editing to my photos. I usually just brighten/darken, but sometimes I go a little crazy.
