In the past I have used Tour Guide Mikes website to plan my trip and with that I would get the attendance reports and estimated attendance for the up coming months. I also used it to research and discuss everything. I found this FREE site and have been able to plan the entire trip thus far except for that one tiny detail and thats the attendance #'s and what to expect. Anyone wanna share with me the report for August 23rd-26th for MK, DHS, AK, & Epcot? and if they are green, yellow or red days. I've been a little stressed about it and might break down to buy the membership to Mikes webpage just to get that info again. I'm going to try googling the attendance now to see what I can dig up.

I use touringplans.com and I bought it b/c I like to plan so much that I needed to know the information first hand. It is a small fee for peace of mind when planning.

Those forecasts aren't accurate enough to stress out over. I would look up the park hours for each day, note which ones have extra magic hours, whether the things you want to see are running or not (e.g. Main St. Electrical Parade at MK), etc. It's generally believed crowds are lighter in a park the day before and after it has extra magic hours, and that weekends are a good time to go to Epcot (the theory is more kids at WDW on weekends, and they'll mostly go to the other parks).

In any case, the dates you're going are nowhere near as busy as a lot of other times at WDW.

Free Dining changes attendance a bit so crowds may be a little larger the week of Aug. 25th. We don't go back to school until after Labor Day here and I know a few families are planning to go that week,

Free dining has been in effect during those dates pretty much every year starting in 2005. The crowd calendars must factor that in.

Thanks all,

Looks like from the research I have done and your posts it will be light to moderate those days. We are planning on Doing Epcot on Thursday since we are getting there around noon. And we won’t spend a lot of time touring the international buildings so I look at is as we only need to see half the park, eat dinner and watch Illuminations.

Friday going to Magic Kingdom

Saturday Disney Hollywood Studios

Sunday Animal Kingdom since we are leaving that night to drive to our next spot we wouldn't be able to see any fireworks or night shows/parades and AK doesn't do night shows so that works for us.

Friday and Saturday will be the busiest but with only moderate crowds I think we will still have a great time and get to see and do everything we want. :)

I know that those four days you may see a few more people at night than during the day. I know that I will only be visiting the parks at night those four days as during the day I will be at the Star Wars Celebration VI convention. I am still hoping that Disney will do something like they did in 2010 at Hollywood Studios.
