At opening in 1982, was EPCOT Center a "full day" park for you?

I didn't visit til the mid 80s as a child. I do remember Horizons, World of Motion and Spaceship Earth. Those were the best rides I did at Disney. Mainly cause IP has never been a draw for my family. That was when dark rides had multiple AAs and good stories.

It was a blazing hot place as none of the vegetation was larger than nursery size.
