We are staying at all star music in a family suite. I would love to hear others experiences in these rooms. Any advice for a family with 2 adults and a 15 and 9 year old?

We stayed in one in the Calypso building last November. We really enjoyed it. Stepping out the room and hearing the music at the pool was pretty cool. Having 2 full bathrooms helped as well.

We stayed 2 years ago, also in the Calypso section. The Calypso section is right next to the pool and the main building with checki-n, buses, and food court. We had a room facing towards the parking lot (could barely see because of all the trees,so that was nice). It was quiet back there, we didn't hear any noise from the pool. I believe there are also suites in the Jazz section which is the next section down.
I loved having the separate bedroom and 2 bathrooms. The kitchenette was great for breakfast in the room and snacks. We also made lunches to bring to the parks (ordered groceries from garden grocer). Disney provides you with some paper plates/bowls/ and plastic cutlery. You can always ask for more if needed. I brought some cheap sponges and some dollar store plastic plates and cups to use, but it wasn't necessary.
The living room has 3 pull out sleep surfaces. I think the 15 yo would want the couch, and the 9 yo the chair. Everything went back in easily when done sleeping so we would have room to sit. There is a small table with only 2 chairs, so having the couch and fold out chair as seating areas was necessary.
The food court had a good selection of food. We utilized the pizza window. It wasn't the best pizza I ever ate, but still decent.
We've recently stayed at AKL and CBR and I still wouldn't hesitate to return to ASMu. I really enjoyed the theming and thought it was quiet and relaxing. Not everyone feels that way though. We shared buses with Sports and Movies, but we there middle of January, so the parks weren't as crowded as high time. I believe when it's really busy, each resort gets their own bus.
