Asking Characters questions!

I'm super super excited to be going to Disneyworld this summer so I've been trying to figure out who I want to meet and possible quirky questions to ask characters and possible poses! Does anyone have any ideas or personal stories they want to share? Also, would it be okay to ask Mickey to propose to me as I plan on dressing as Minnie?! :) Thanks for all the help!

Not to change the subject, but what do you mean by "dress as Minnie?" I only ask because Disney only allows adult guests to dress in costume for certain events, such as their running events, the Halloween party, and the 24-hour event. I'd hate to see you get turned away at the gate or something.

oh i mean wearing like a red polka dot shirt and black shorts?! not like in the full dress or costume! wait is that okay though?! :(

Lol... that sounds like it would be fine. I just wanted to be sure, though, because I know quite a few people who really mean "dress up" when they say "dress up" and like I said, I didn't want you to have a bad surprise at the gate.

We always try to ask the characters questions related to their stories/movies. i.e. Ariel gets lots of questions about Flounder and dinglehoppers, Pooh gets questions about Hunny, we try and anger Donald by pretending we love Mickey more, etc. We had a good one with Baloo and King Louie once- but it involved my younger one confusing a CM saying "only the bear knows his ABCs" i.e. only Baloo signs autographs...for King Louie truly needing to learn. So, she went up to King Louie and sang him the ABCs to help him out. We've got LOTS of stories like this, but some of it is just seeing what happens naturally.

Donald has gotten very mad at my DS's stuffed mickey... at multiple locations. At Chef Mickey, Donald put the stuffed mickey upside down on the pot of coffee. :)

It is OK. Dressing like that even has a name. It's called Disneybounding.

Google that and you'll find plenty of examples.

Didn't realize it had a name! Nice :)

I've got all my outfits pretty much picked out for next week, but nothing really character themed. I guess I missed the boat on this activity.

It's turning into a thing actually haha and I'm pretty excited! It's not too late though to change your mind and have different outfits of possibly your fave characters!!! I imagine the characters would love it :3!

Lol! This is true...

I don't know how I'd be able to budget for it at this stage in the game, though... but I do have a few somewhat Disneyesque touches that I've added to a few things. For example, my mother in law gave me a seashell from her recent trip to the beach. DH put it on a pendant for me, and I plan to wear it our first day at the Magic Kingdom. My outfit for our day at Animal Kingdom may involve a tank top with some kind of Disney theme to it... haven't fully decided on that one yet. So I do have a few small things in the works, but I definitely don't qualify to be put in the "Disneybounding" category yet.

My nails, however... I have already decided that I am definitely doing Disney nails on Friday. We leave Saturday... if I did them before Friday I'd probably ruin them before the trip. :p

Look for the ap called Kenny the Pirates Character Locator. He will not only give you the best places to meet certain characters by park, but he also has suggested questions for the character. We've used some of his suggestions and they were great and his character locations are spot on. Have a great trip and enjoy all the ones that you meet.

Some questions I have asked the characters...

Cinderella- At Halloween, I asked if Bruno barks at the trick or treaters that come to the castle, because my late dog certainly did. A lot.
Ariel- I asked if Atlantica and Atlantis: The Lost Empire were near each other.
Merida and Mulan- Since they're both trained in archery, ask if they've had a chance to see who's better.
Jane (Tarzan)- I asked how the Professor's doing and what sort of research he's currently up to (this wound up having a fun answer)
Peter and Wendy- On a rainy day, I asked about the weather in Neverland.

Ask Peter if he likes to kiss girls?

You must meet Gaston in NFL. HE is awesome and will start the conversion. He asked my daughter who's castle that was (pointing at Cinderella's) when she answered Cinderella's he said WRONG it's the prince's she just moved in. When she was speechless to begin with he looked at me and said your welcome.

We asked Merida which brother she liked best. We have also said "squirrel" to Dug. His reaction was pretty funny. As someone else posted, Kenny the Pirate has some character interaction suggestions posted on his website.
