>>LA Chef Hung Huynh, a “Top Chef” Season 3 winner, has opened Asian Street Eats, a new restaurant from Earl Enterprises, at Downtown Disney in Anaheim.

The popular chef, who recently founded Warrior on the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood, will offer bowls, wraps, pot stickers and more from a takeout window.

Bowls ($7.95-$9.95) are made with sauteed tofu, braised short rib or grilled chicken and include Royal Purple Rice or mixed greens topped with fire-roasted corn, mixed greens, cabbage, cucumbers, pickled carrots, caramelized onions, and your choice of sauce: miso honey, spicy teriyaki, teriyaki, sriracha aioli, sesame citrus soy or spicy avocado.

There are also scallion pancake wraps ($7.95-$9.95), Japanese teas, sodas, and strawberry and mango mochi for dessert.<<

So this container structure looks very temporary from the likes of it. Anyone wants to take bets how long it will be there? I wonder how long will it take for Disney to announce rehabbing Downtown Disney, it's something they have to do eventually. Parts of this shopping center looks dated and jiggered. Any word on what exactly will be at AMC?

Instagram user posted a picture yesterday of the Asian Street Eats Trailer is gone missing. Tuesday it was there and by Thursday it was gone according their postings. Along with SSG permit posting of a wall being built inside and signage being added to the the old Rainforest Cafe Building. Looks like something is happening.

I usually refer to the Disneyland Website and if its removed from the website which it is is a good indication that its gone for good. Restaurants not open on the website say temporarily not available. It appears Asian Street Eats is gone completely off the website but still on the app maybe waiting for an update. No indication on any of their social media but yelp say it will reopen Feb 28, 2021 not sure how valid that info is.

I'm betting it'll be something Indiana Jones themed to tie into Indy 5. I can't see anyone but Disney taking over that building, it's not like most outside businesses are desperate to get space in DTD right now.

Someone in another thread said that the Galaxy Outpost store was moving there so the Wonderland store could be converted to a Marvel store, probably to coincide with the opening of the new land.
