hi all i have two questions

i am trying to plan a vacation for either christmas time or early march.
my first question is i RA witch means at times i have a hard time walking when my knee's, ankles, or hips are bothering me so i want to stay in the preferred rooms. last time i was there the toy story building was not a preferred building but as i under stand it is now. when booking can i be put in the toy story building for sure if i pay for preferred or is it the same as before where its a request?

my other question is having never been at Christmas is there a better time to go or is all of dec good. what time is there the most going on ? when are all the decorations and lights up?

thanks all

The decorations go up Thankgiving night, so no matter what time you go in December you will see the decorations. I know the earlier in December you go the less crowded. If you go between Christmas day and New Years day it will be PACKED.

Have a great trip!!

The preferred buildings in AS:Movies are the Toy Story, Fantasia, and 101 Dalmatians ones. You can put in a request as to which building you would like to be in, but all Disney can guarantee is that you will be in one of the above buildings (assuming you have paid the extra for the preferred rooms). We just stayed in preferred rooms and were placed in one of the Fantasia buildings. All 3 of the above are pretty close to the main building, so you'd probably be safe in any of them, if you don't have a preference on theming.

As said in the previous post the Fantasia buildings are the closest to the front. First off, how many are going to be in the room? You may be able to request a handicapped room, they all have one king size bed that is lower to the floor for ease in and out. You can request for that and explain why, if possible, you can also request to have whatever room be as close to the elevators as possible if they put you on an upper floor so as to not have to walk as far just get get dowstairs. In most cases Disney can accomidate your request, just check with them as the date to your arrival gets closer, so as to make sure that nothing has been changed without your knowledge.
