My wife and I and our 2 year old daughter have a Little Mermaid room at the end of March. Our daughter is obsessed with Ariel...so we're super excited to go on this vacation. This will be our first time at AoA as well. I'm happy to read so many positive reviews about it!

we might book mermaid for the fall. I've heard some people say it's a hike to get to the lobby & buses, but I didn't think it was bad when we walked around. we're pretty much used to walking a lot down there anyway.

Stayed there in December in the standard room. Very cute and comfortable. The food court and gift shop were great. The busses were good. They did get busy coming back from the parks, but it wasn't bad. We would stay there again, but we are trying different resorts on our next trips. Have a great time!

my bad. sorry if I implied that both resorts shared buses. didn't mean to cause confusion.
No worries we kinda figured it was probably a isolated issue :) I've stayed at Pop a few times and I know the bus is direct with them and AoA is known for a direct bus as well.

I've heard of guests getting a complimentary upgrade to a suite. I'm assuming it's a combo of being lucky & availability. who wouldn't like a free upgrade? anyone experience this?

Just left last night after a week at AoA. The timing boards at bus stop are up and pretty accurate, food court I liked, pool I didn't use but it is nice, bus I never waited more than 5 mins leaving to go to parks, longest I waited coming back from parks was 10 mins, the rooms are nice, bed felt more on the smaller side since I'm use to King or queen but wasn't bad, the theming of the resort was pretty cool, we stayed in a little mermaid room which had the basics of any value resort, we were In building #9 which is a pretty good walk from lobby and bus, housekeeping was good, cm were all pretty nice, overall I enjoyed it and although I prob won't go outta my way to stay there again id def suggest it. If you are a family it's perfect for you. The only hiccup we had all week was the first two days, for some reason no one could figure out our magic bands wouldn't open our door lol had to make three trips to front desk to have it "reset" but after that it was good rest of the week. The location was great, I was there for the SW race and being close to wwos and epcot was ideal. Only park that took awhile obv was mk which took around 12 mins which for me is no biggie.
