Arriving soon - checking on busyness of parks?

My 5 year old daughter and I arrive in Orlando this Friday evening and I plan to go to Disney and other parks during the week we are there. My question is, should I wait to do these on weekdays or what have/are the crowds like right now at Magic Kingdom and other Disney parks? We are very excited to go, just her and I. We went last year in early September and had a blast, hoping the crowds will be light like they were that time.

You can check wait times in the My Disney Experience app without being in the parks. I may or may not do this when I'm bored. :cautious:

I was in the parks all week last week and it was crazy busy in all of them. I know this past Monday was a holiday and that explained some of it but I have never seen DAK busier then it was on Sunday. Magic Kingdom was busy both days I was there as well. Looking at wait times today at MK.....180 minutes for Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, 110 for Space Mountain and 85 minutes for Peter Pan, those are 3 top waits. Hopefully it cools down a bit for your visit like it is forecast. It has been super hot for this time of year.

I have been here at WDW since October 8th. It has been pretty busy overall. Some days, such as today, have been very busy. I was not expecting October to be quite as busy so I am very glad that I made this a long trip in that I was able to not kill myself every day trying to see everything.
