We booked in Feb hoping for a quiet week. There is a cheer competition this week and large cheer groups Everywhere. wdw touring app still list park crowds at 1-3 for crowd level but NO way. Crowds have been around 6-7 every day. And yes... We are lucky enough to hear the loud spontaneous chants throughout the day. Oh, and every picture is better with a human pyramid in front of it. Even when there are lots of other people waiting their turn. One group came back to a Pluto meet and greet and made everyone wait while they redid their group posed photo because someone had their eyes shut the first time.

From now on we will make sure we know when cheer weekends are before we book.

In Feb there is also field hockey at wide world of sports. When you mix that with cheer squads it equals lots of afternoon crowds! I joined my family in Florida for my niece's field hockey tournament two years ago. The day crowd was fine but when the cheer competitions were done and the field hockey games were done, you couldn't move in the parks! Hollywood studios was especially bad because some of the competitions were there. The security was so tight one day at wide world of sports because Michele Obama was due to come for some event that it took forever just to get around there too.

We unfortunately experienced a few groups being very disrespectful to other guests while at Hollywood Studios last week. There were people just walking down the "street" and the groups came RUNNING from behind them, pretty much engulfing them, then stopped and began clapping and chanting. Then the leader blew a whistle and they all went running up about 50 feet, stopped, etc. while the next group moved in. There were 4 groups in all. We were walking on the sidewalk so just witnessed it. The people they were surrounding were caught off guard and a looked a bit freaked out.

Oh dear..I dealt with some schmendricks on the bus from pop to Epcot for my final day...And these were boy and girl cheerleaders (Big on the Douchebaggery levels) They were just loud and annoying througout the bus ride..Later on that day I was in MouseGear and I saw them trying to be all musical like trying to start making rythyms for anything they saw.....This is when a guy came over and asked them.."Are you from High School Musical?" They said "No?" The guy replied "Well, your idiots to start something stupid!" I gave the guy a high five on that one...The group felt dumbfounded as people were laughing at them when they were walking out...Pure win..

The best was when we were on Laugh Floor. They were showing crowd shots and a cheerleader jumped in the background of the frame just to be in TV. The "monster" comedian says "hey cheerleader go sit down. Its not always about you". The whole crowd burst out in laughter.

We were at Hollywood Studios on 2/1 and there were large amounts of dance team or cheer groups. They weren't too loud or obnoxious, at least from what I saw. Didn't hear any loud cheering or anything like that. They did make the park quite a bit more crowded though since they took over Indy's theater for the day.
