Arrangements for adult birthday at WDW?

I am heading down to WDW in 4 days with 3 of my friends. One of them is turning 26 on the 7th and I would like to do something special for her (she hasn't been to WDW since she was in second grade). She already has her birthday pass printout (we will hopefully be using it for birthday fastpasses since we already have tickets). I have also told POR that it is her birthday, as it is my understanding that the resorts "decorate" the room for you. Is this correct?
Are there any other birthday specific things I can do for her? Can I order a birthday cake delivered from somewhere, or arrange for a special birthday meal?
I am open to any and all suggestions that you guys have. I've been to WDW dozens of times but I have never been on my actual birthday, nor anyone elses in my party so I am clueless as to what options are available to me.

Thanks in advance!

When you make your dining reservations tell them you'll be celebrating a birthday, then remind them when you check in at the podium. They usually do something special like a small cupcake, or other dessert.

At the deluxe resorts you can call the concierge and order a cake, and anything else, to be delivered to the room. I assume it's the same for the moderate resorts. They usually include a signed card from Mickey and/or Minnie, balloons, hats etc....

For example:

Oh go onto www.DisneyFlorist.com there they have many different things you can do for her. You will need to call pretty quick though. I know they need at least 2 days to make up arrangements and such. They are the greatest there I sware by them. Look at my Albums and there are a few pictures of stuff I got for my Honeymoon for my Hubby and I.
You can also if you make dinner reservations or have made them already contact them and ask them to make a special celebration cake for her. Some resort restaurants like Cal. Grill and others like that can make special character stencils to put on the cake.
Oh also make sure she gets her Birthday Pin from Main St. at Magic Kingdom, if you are staying at a Deluxe Resort you can get it aslo from the store in the resort or the front desk area. Hope this helps you out. Email me if you need anything else. I go to Disney quit often. ~Tinkerchelli~:)
Oh and Happy Birthday to her!!! I will be there during that same week. YIPPIE :sohappy::sohappy:

My husband and I celebrated my birthday at Cinderella's castle last year and I had The Fairy God Mother sing me happy birthday. While it was something simple and small I enjoyed it so very much.

I am sure that others will do the same thing, especially if she is wearing a button.

Just remind her. At Disney, no body is grown up!
