ARMCHAIR IMAGINEERS...reimagine Epcot!

I have an idea for one of the attractions at EPCOT.

It being for the Imagination pavilion:

What if we had Figment teaching guests about historical people and them using their imaginations to create amazing things after getting that "one little spark" needed for that BIG idea that helped positively impact our world? Figment would take us on a history lesson about those people with strong imaginations with jokes sprinkled in subtly about those people in a playful yet light-hearted way and using the information to form a story about how people as far back as the stone age that had used their imaginations to create illustrations on walls to tell about important events in their own way and how that in some ways influenced their ancestors in their time to use their imaginations to make amazing inventions that ultimately changed the world for the better.

Then it would transition from the arts of creative men of Ancient Greece to the plays of William Shakespeare and then to specific creators of the arts in the later centuries with brief moments talking about their works (like bookwriting, music, painting, performing arts and eventually TV and film) that became influential in later works of the 20th century onward and then for the penultimate set-piece, it would feature Walt Disney and his team using their imaginations to create works that would not only ultimately change the entertainment industry forever but also be an inspiration to further creators (like the guests) over time. We can then finish if off with a colorful montage of animatronics and set design with all the creative influential people that were talked about in a cool montage to the song "One Little Spark".

Figment would then encourage the guests to come try out their new ImageWorks and be creative so that they too can be just like those guys and maybe even become an inspiration to future generations with their own creativity and imaginations.

I hope I can get any input for this potential idea so criticism is welcomed. Thanks for reading.
So more of an arts focus? Pretty cool! Honestly, more interesting than the current Imagination ride lol.

If you want a more critical/philosophical response, I think the spark of imagination inspires not only artists but also scientists, explorers, political thinkers, and almost anything else! I say, in the spirit of the ride, why limit it to artists? Choose 3-5 fascinating historical figures who had their bursts of imagination (like a Eureka moment). Isaac Newton and the Apple, Archimedes and water displacement, the Bee Gees writing "Jive Talking" (lol I kid, but it is a fun story how they wrote that song!)

I wholeheartedly agree with you. I think the moral of my idea for this "History of Imagination" dark ride is that imagination isn't just for everyone, it's also timeless. The limitless possibilities of our minds creating amazing things to better our world is mind-blowing. It was following a line from the Dreamfinder who said in the original ride, 'Imagination belongs to all of us'. I wanted to expand upon this quote by proving that we can share what ideas we have to make the world a better place and be amazing.

It sounds to me like a more inspiring experience than the frankly awful current version that is a dated and confused mess.
