Ariel's new look has debuted at the parks.

I like it over all. I miss the star fish in her hair though.

yea...um...call me a nostalgic hater...I don't like it. I think the long sleeves look weird with the huge sagging puffy sleeves. And she needs something in her hair because she looks very plain. The bodice and skirt look nice though but the over all look is not pleasing to me.

Cute girl, but yeah, this looks like a Generic Princess Costume. If her hair wasn't red, she could be anybody.

Very cute girl. There is another picture posted on the Unofficial Character FB page. I didn't post it since it is someone else's photo. She has the full dress held out. The bottom looks multi-colored and sparkly.

I agree; very generic looking. It doesn't look anything like anything Ariel has worn. Her old dress was reminiscent of her wedding dress at least. This just comes across as "It's shiny and sea foam! Slap it on her!"

Much prefer the old one, Ariel was honestly one of the few who didn't really need a new a dress. Those sleeves are horrible, it doesn't look like anything Ariel has ever worn honestly, and the hair is just really plain.

Doesn't look like Ariel in any way. Doesn't even evoke Ariel. What's so hard about making the costume something the character actually wore?

The costume is fine by me - the face character could use some work.

I don't mind the dress- aside from the color, it's honestly closer to what she wore in the movie than the other one. I agree that she needs something in her hair though- even a sparkly comb on the side or something like in the movie. Also, I know pics don't show the colors perfectly, but her hair seems a little too auburn.

I fancy the older pic. It looks timeless. The newer one looks more outdated with those poofy sleeves. I also like the strarfish in the hair. She should carry a dinglehopper, too.

I know. I had to listen to a friend of mine who works for DCP tell me how "great" it is and how "dumb" the complaints are.

The new dress looks better, though the shoulders are too puffy. Tone them down and it'd be better. I couldn't stand the old dress.
