Nice to see that you kept your temper in check, it's a lot more than I'd have been able to do if someone was shouting in my face.
Just to take things a little off to the side here, I confess to parking in disabled bays but only when the parent and child bays are filled with cars sporting disbled badges. I need the extra space just as much as they do and if they park in my space, I'll park in theirs.
The disbled badge system in the UK is heavily flawed with a large number of folks carrying badges who don't need them. This is causing a lot of apathy where disbled bays are concerned.
