Just curious what goes on at YOUR house ...

I am (VERY HAPPILY!) drowning in a POOL OF DISNEY ... I'm reading guide books, watching dvd's, listening to Disney Music, visiting websites (WDWMagic.com), planning, packing ... SMILING!!!

:sohappy: WE LEAVE IN 32 MORE DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOHOO!!!!! :sohappy:

But, THE REST OF MY FAMILY ... well ... their attitude is kind of like ... "wake us up, when it's time to leave."

Are you the ONLY ONE in your house, bursting at the seams!?!?!?

I believe all the people in this forum share your Disney obsession. 15 years ago when I would get ready...all I had was old home movies to to get excited. Now..with the internet you can videos of the rides..and best of all share your excitement with all the other Freaks on here!! Gotta LOVE IT!!

I'm the excited one, I'm the one who does the planning and reads the guidebooks and spends hours on here.
The wife shows a mild interest in what I'm doing, assists with schedules and planning AR's but expects everything done.
The teens - well they just wait until we get there and then go wild

My DH said he is just looking forward to getting away, and is happy because I am excited. Every day I keep asking the kids "Guess how many more days!" I think I'm driving them crazy!

My kids are excited but I don't think it will hit them until we are about to leave..... 4 weeks!!

I'm the one in my family that does it all. My DD didn't get jumpy and excited until the weekend before we left. I just can't believe it's over! I just hope the next year flies by.

My daughter (17) gets as excited as I do, which is extremely excited. My husband, who grew up just south of Orlando in Sebring, has been many times and does not care one way or the other. We usually end up fighting in the middle of WDW because he is like, "I've done that a million times; I don't want to do it again." So my daughter and I usually end up on our own while he sulks in the room.

Me and my 4 year old get VERY excited. My 14 year old and DH are like, "If she asks me one more WDW question":brick: But in general, they enjoy going just not the build up getting there. :animwink: I've always thought, "One of these days, I'm going to work for Disney!" I guess it's an ongoing dream.

My kids are insanely excited as myself. My husband could care less except that he is on vacation and doesn't have to work. Every morning I ask the kids "we have ____ days left". This morning it was 39 to go. OOOOHHHHH can't wait. We read the disney books, come to this website, watch the disney dvd and whatever else we can get our hands on. I LOVE DISNEY and look forward to getting down there on 4/12.

My family is all extremely excited. This will be my first trip in three years, and I have NEVER been away that long. With a grand total of, I believe it's 82 trips under my belt, maybe it's 81....this long layoff has been killing me!:lol:

This is the first time though since 1992, that my parents, my three sisters, and I will all be there at the same time. My one sister and her kids have the countdown going on, and she makes it a point to call me everyday and let me know...lol.

We have a few additions this time around though as a family trip. Used to be just the six of us when we'd go together. Now this time it's my parents, my sister and her two kids, my other sister and my brother in law and her two boys(the boys' first time), my other sister and my other brother in law and their baby(her first time, and my girlfriend(her first time).

So we have excitement coming from ALL around!:sohappy:
