maria - who is that in your avatar??? creepy!

anyway - brushing your teeth in the shower is the coolest... so i wrote a song about it.
Ode To Shower Brushing

When i get ready, to get all wet,
there is one thing i do not forget,

the paste that shines up my teeth
with a fresh taste from a mint leaf,

colgate, hotgate, i use crest
it gets my teeth looking best...

in the shower, the game's all new
you'll have toothpast all over you!

just brush real hard, and spit on your feet
i never said brushing in the shower was neat

there is one thing that brings attention to care...
don't let your toothbrush acquire a hair......................ewww

well - i'm gonna quit there...

LOL!! my morning routine is short because I usually am too out of it to even notice what I do....
1. Hit the freakin alarm about 20 times
2. Shut off the alarm and literally roll out of bed
3. Sleep on the floor for about another hour
4. Mope into the bathroom
5. Turn on hot water and climb into the shower
6. Soap
7. Shampoo
8. Face crap
9. rinse everything off
10. Towel around the waist region, depends on how awake I am
11. deoderant
12. off with towel and on with bathrobe
13. go to room and change into clothes
14. coffee
15. wake up
16. brush teeth and get out the door

Does he look creepy? :(
He is Eduardo Palomo a mexican actor who passed away -on my bday- from a heart attack while he was having dinner with his wife in a restaurant in L.A. He was only 41 and had a 5 year old daughter and a 3 year old son. :(

That picture is of him in his most famous role: "Juan del Diablo", a sexy pirate from the soap opera called "Corazón Salvaje" (Wild Heart) made ten years ago!

He was starring in the NBC series called Kingpin but I had not seen it.

Poor family...

:(

awe maria - that is so sad!!! i just learned how different mexican soap operas are than american ones... and that it is a highly sought after acting role... (to be on a soap opera) is it true that they have ending plots about every week or so? our soap operas are horrible! (at least i think so)

The main difference is that ours have an ending!

Seriously though, some of ours are very well done - like 'Amor Real' the one I was hooked up with recently-. They built a whole town that I could swear was real -kinda like Disney- and themed it in the Mexico of 1860´s. The costuming was amazing and it was like if you were watching a movie -great photography! It got the highest ratings ever! It lasted for 4 months and they are making the dvd now.

Previous to that one, ten years ago, there was this other one themed in those years too, in San Pedro, and it was a love story between the rich girl and the pirate who was this guy.

The rest of the soaps here (telenovelas) are themed in actual years, not superproductions like these two, but I don´t watch them. Many of them are very lame. They never last more than a year though! Average is 4-5 months.

The cast is always important, but actors usually get noticed in them, and then jump to better projects or better productions on the night time schedule.

Hope this info helped.... :animwink:

Forgot to say that Mexico is the biggest soap opera exporting country! (we are so proud!) ;)
It´s amazing to find out that some actors are known in China, Japan, Italy because of old soap operas that we followed years ago, and that are still playing there! Dubbed in their languages and all that!
