Are there any imagineering interns out there?

I was just curious. I really really want to participate in an imagineering internship. I know, me and a billion other kids. But I was curious about the experience.

If there is anyone on that has done the imagineering internship, or even imagi-nations, I would like to know what exactly you do (Do you just file stuff, answer phones, deliver papers, etc or actually get to witness a blue sky session?)

Thanks!

This makes me feel bundles better about my chances. lol. I guess I can only hope at this point.

Your best bet is to go to the CP like you have in your sig. It's the bottom of a long ladder, but at least you climb onto it.

That's what I figured, work my way up, and get out of the cold of CT for a semster of school. I plan on taking the new engineering classes they offer!

Really? Everything on the official site I have seen says CA. ... Talking about how you need to find you own place to live and whatnot.

Edit: PS. That's great news!

I've only met a small number of Imagineers. (Atleast, that I know of).

Come to think of it, not even met, but moreso saw/noticed. I did "meet" two.

That, and apparently one of my professors designed stuff in Epcot, and that always weirds me out as it's my favorite park and he's a rather difficult to deal with professor.

I digress, the only one I ever thought was an intern worked on M:S and had his nose in a laptop computer 24/7. I don't know what he was doing, but it seemed like he was doing the theatrical equivilent of taking rehearsal notes. Others (obvious imagineers and such) would tell him this or that, and he'd type it up into the computer, and he was also constantly searching for information about this/that or the other.

He could of just been someone's personal assistant, but the sorta non-chalant dress and his age to me suggested some sort of design intern.

Ooo I would totally love to do that as an intern! Thanks for the information everyone!

Just curious: Anyone else trying to be an imagineer? (I'm an EE major)
