I take digital photo's and have and ipod type (it's really an iriver- 5G-) device. I could easily and quickly offload my photos if I had the use of a computer with usb port for about 5 minutes. Are there any "courtesy" PC's at the resorts? I've stayed at other hotels in other places that have a computer down in the lobby for anyone to e-mail etc.. on

Does this exist on Disney property?

DVC Resorts do in their Community Halls. I am not sure about the USB, but I would imagine. The next thing is will they let you attach anything to it?

When I went a couple years ago, we had to truck it to the Contemporary's business center so that I could use a computer. As far as I know, that hasn't changed.

And even then I don't know if they'd have what you need. You might email guest services...that's what I had to do :) Or there's always the WDW digital photo services...or Walgreens :animwink:

Also within the parks you can bring your card to any of the photo locations and they will download all your pics onto a CD for about $13.00 if my memory is correct. Belle

I brought my laptop with me and downloaded my pics from my cards every night before I went to bed. If you have a laptop bring it. It's your best bet.

I think so...I know there was a $10/hr. charge to use the internet, but I don't believe there was a charge simply for the computer--Amazing that Disney would pass up that opportunity! ;)

I wish that they still had the Internet phones in the parks and resorts. I believe due to a software error they removed them. Its a shame and a bit annoying because im going to be there for two weeks but no way to check what is going on back home or check emails. No way am i taking my laptop to disney. It would be good if all the resorts had a couple of pcs for internet access such as the cruise line does.

Or you could just forgo the whole downloading thing and not worry about it on vacation by investing in more memory.

Meomory is becoming very cheap - and it is reusable over and over. Unless you want to drive to Wal-Greens, you will be paying much more to download at WDW then it's worth.

You will save the hassle and time - and have the memory for a very long time.

Just my advice!

I don't know of any places in the resorts. I think it was $12.99 a few weeks ago to have them put on a CD in the parks. We drove over to Walgreens (the one on 192) and did it for $2.99.

Oh Agreed Walgreens is by far less expensive but if one doesnt have a car or cant leave the parks for whatever reason, the service offered is a good option even at $13.00. Belle

Convenience is an issue to be sure. For me, I passed Wallgreens to and from my hotel, so it was no biggie for me and all the other paupers who slum it offsite ;)

Hey there Barnum, On my last trip I had just gotten my first digital camera!!! (Thanks PhotoDave for all the help!!!) The camera itself told me I had 370 some odd pics but I had no idea how many pics I was going to take, etc. As I wasnt going to have a car and was staying onsite, I figured worst case if I maxed out my card (512 mg ultra high speed) I could just go right within the same park, get my card dumped onto a CD, format the card, and be ready to go again in a short amount of time(Hopefully) I didnt have to worry I only(!!!) took 274 picures and my camera says I have 200 some odd left!!! Woohoo!!!!!!! Belle

The joy of Digital was being able to shoot like crazy during the day then review the shots waiting in line or back at the hotel and cull all the ones that did not work, thus freeing up space on the memory cards.
