Are the bricks in front of MK still available for purchase?

I have always admired the bricks in front of MK. In fact, stepping on them is one of my emotional check points of "YES! We're really here!". But, does anyone know if you can still buy one? I see many without names on them, and have wondered for awhile now how I could go about putting my family's name on one?

You are right, July 2000 was the last sale date. They were intended to last 10 years, so they are on borrowed time now. They are not doing any replacements of the bricks, so I would expect to see them removed in the near future.

Got ours in 2000...part of our trips always includes the "who-can-find-it-first" search for our brick. Ours is also located in the TTC area. I know it won't be there forever, but I hope it's there for years to come so our children and hopefully some day grandchildren will be able to hunt for it as well.

Hmmm, that's a shame. I don't have a brick myself, but it's nice that Disney had a way for guests to buy a stake in WDW land which was mostly unobtrusive and still full of long-term meaning for those guests, without disrupting the themed environment.

What a shame that when the bricks are pulled up and replaced with plain concrete, Leave a Legacy and Bay Lake Tower will live on.

Bay Lake Tower is fine with me, but Leave A Legacy must go! Although thematically of late, things that look like tombstones are fitting for EPCOT. But I still want them gone!
