Aquatica soft openings?

March 1st is the first day it'll be open for guests and that'll technically be considered the soft opening since they aren't having the official opening ceremonies a few weeks later.

I just added it to my gold pass so I'm going to see if I can get in on 3/1 (if it's warm enough). The Sea World (what are they called there? Crew Members? Team members?) person that added it to my AP said that in March it was open to APs only for the first week.

We have platinum passes for BG-Wmsbg, VA. Can we get into Aquatica? We used them at Sea World in Nov 07 but I wasn't sure about the new park? I know we cannot go to DC w/ our passes. Maybe we can work on something for the summer................. hmmmm!

Me and my family are going to the Aquatica preview next Sunday(passholders only). Should be fun, except, I like my water at about 90F. :dazzle: :p

Platinum Passes are related to the Team Member Family Fun Passes with different discounts and benefits (and cost money while Team Member Family Fun Passes are Free to Family...)

The Family Fun includes Aquatica, so the Platinum Passes will include aquatica.

Family fun includes a discount for Discovery Cove... which Platinum passes also include i believe.

I have a platnum pass and it doesn't include aquatica. I just upgraded my pass yesterday so that it would cover it. I would contact SW and verify if your pass includes it. If the pass was purchased after a certain date which I don't know it actually included it.

I second that! Online, it told me my Platinum pass was good for Aquatica, but when I got there, it wasn't. It's a matter of a $.87 cent upgrade per month on my EZPAY plan, so nothing to keep me from getting a new car or anything, but still, annoying that online says one thing and the computers at the gate says the opposite.

Oh well, all is well now and I'll be back at Aquatica this weekend!
