AP's, Magic Bands & Tickets..

In November I had bought my AP to the parks and then recently I added two After Hour event tickets to my trip....Since I haven't been there for 2 years and they have changed things up with the Magic Band I do need to know...

1) Since my AP is already on my account..Do I still need to go to Guest Relations at the park for anything? AP Card to get discounts and such?

2) When I bought the Event Tickets I got a Passcode to add the tickets to My Disney Experience account...However I did get Physical tickets in the mail..Do I have to use the tickets I got or could I still use the Magic Band to enter the event?

If you bought your AP online and haven't actually been to the parks yet, you'll need to activate it at GR before you can enter the parks. You should ask for a discount card for purchases at the same time. Your event tickets will work from your magicbands, you won't need the hard tickets. The hard tickets are nice souvenirs though.

Great! I have gone to GR to do the AP Stuff to get the card so as long as It gets activated and the Event tickets are on there I should be good to go!

The event tickets will work regardless of the AP. If the event is your first night, activate your AP the next day so you get an extra day at the other end. ;)
