April Trip Help

I've managed to luck out and get a conference at the beginning of April (2-8 to be exact) in Orlando (now I can buy things I forgot in Dec :lol: )

Anyway I have two questions:
1. How are the crowds around then? I've only gone Oct,Nov or Dec.

2. Does anyone know how far away the Hyatt Regency Grand Cyprus is from WDW? Need to figure out what makes most sense for transportation.

That week should be pretty crowded since its near spring break and Easter. Also, the week of April 8 - 21st is blacked out for Florida Resident Seasonal Pass

I was at WDW the exact same week last year. I teach, and it was our Spring Break. It is normally one of the most crowded weeks, but to be honest, we didn't see too many problems with crowds. The longest we wait we saw was 60 minutes for Space Mountain and Test Track. I know this is long, but I've seen 100+ wait times. We walked onto rides/attractions such as It's Tough to be a Bug, Snow White, PhilharMagic, Pirates, and many others. It was great though, because the weather wasn't unbearably hot. Hope you have a good trip!

Be prepared for crowds

When we were there in December, CM's everywhere were commenting how it was a busierthan normal for them at WDW this year. I am sure it carried over into this year as well. So I would say be prepared for crowds (I am going in March and they have lots of sporting events going on)
