Hi,
I know I am really early but...when will I be able to book a vacation package for April 2011? I just noticed that my vacation week (I am a teacher) hits Easter weekend in 2011, and I want to book early. It would be April 15th- April 25th. Thanks :wave: Tina

2011 rates won't be out until sometime in August. You could however book "room" only now, and then switch to a package when the new rates come out in Aug. This is what we did. We are going June 2011 and have already booked the days we want at POFQ. You can book room only rates up to 499 days in advance and then switch your reservation over to a package later.

I tried to book a room only on-line for April 2011, but it wouldn't let me. Do you have to call them to book a room only this early??? Tina

You can book by phone for room-only up to 499 days in advance.

This secures the room type you want at the resort you want. Then as you get closer, if deals come up you can add them or convert your reservation.

I already booked our rooms for Pop Century for next March through my CAA agent up here. We put the required deposit on each room and when the new rates for next year come out in August, we will have the reservation switched over to a package deal. I know to some people it may seem kinda early to book it a year out, but why take any chances when you are dealing with holidays and Spring Break crowds. Our Spring Break falls in the middle of March, along with a lot of other Canadians, hence why we book it a year out. Better to be safe than sorry!
