Appropriate celebration on ADR?

Hi everyone,
I've been looking on these forums for years, but I've had a question I just couldn't answer, so I made an account to ask you all. Our upcoming trip is the beginning of March with my family. My boyfriend and I have separate ADRs at California Grill. We are celebrating our one year DATING anniversary. I put that as our celebration, but I wasn't sure if that was considered "stupid" to put on there. I didn't want to have to explain it was just dating, and look stupid in case we were asked by our waiter. So heres my question. Is making a celebration for a year dating anniversary appropriate? Or should I call Disney and try to pull the celebration from the ADR? I was going to call today, but I thought I should get another opinion first. Thanks! :D

As someone who worked at the front desk and gave out "I'm Celebrating" buttons everyday I'm here to tell you you are certainly NOT stupid in putting that as your celebration! Disney is a place to celebrate every special moment in your life no matter how big or small it is. I would certainly keep that and celebrate something in your life that makes you happy. (And don't forget to get your buttons too!) =) =)

Celebrate whatever the heck you want to! Just be aware that many restaurants due to the "celebrate everything" mentality that Disney pushes now days, do not do much in terms of actual free celebrations. Have a great time at your dinner!

I think any happy event in your life is worth celebrating and is absolutely appropriate to mention for your ADR. Congratulations!

Keep it that way. I may not subscribe to it just because I am a traditionalist when it comes to marriage but a lot of couples aren't getting married these days. And they all celebrate their dating anniversary. Congrats btw... :)

I totally agree. Celebrate everything. We Celebrate not being at work every time. :)
