Appliance Direct...

Does anyone ever watch tv while down in Orlando? My husband and I crack up when we see the commercials for appliance direct...they're hard to describe, you have to know what I'm talking about to understand. This Asian guy is like "Your toaster not toasting?!" and this little girl goes "Appliance Direct!" and at the end he's like standing on the stores shouting the address and directions to the store. Well they've since changed the commercials. They're not as funny but they're still funny! Has anyone else seen these commercials??

You know what's worse? Family Auto Mart. You get really good at losing your breakfast after watching the 'Pickle and Paco Show'...

I thought I was the only one who liked those commercials.That guy cracks me up with his broken english,"If you didn't buy from Appliance Direct you pay too much!" Sometimes he's on the roof of a store screaming, he's funny but they don't always start and finish the commercials with the little girl saying "Appliance Direct" anymore like they did originally.

Those commercials are god-awful... I thought the local corny ones here in Chicago were bad.... man... what a bunch of stupid crap...

My idea is this... if your commercial is annoying and stupid as hell, I will never by anything from you...just cause you annoyed the hell out of me....:lol: I CANT STAND THOSE 2 CAR OAFS!... There... now I feel better

I'm assuming you don't have insurance from Eagle Insurance then?

For everyone outside of Chicago, it's something similar and it was wildy popular in the city. It was a cheezy insurance co that hit it big with thier commerical.

As for Appliance direct...I wasn't too sure at first but as soon as i saw "If you didn't buy from Appliance Direct you pay too much!" a whole bunch of tv memories came flooding back! :lol: That bleeping commerical was on every 15min and they'd usually air two in a row. It was annoying but catchy.

I've seen the Appliance Direct commercial in all it's glory. It was so long it had its own commercial breaks. That was over a year ago and my husband still talks about the guy on the roof shouting directions. He rates it above anything else he saw on TV while we were in Florida. :lol:

Don't forget to squeeze the 800 in front. Too many people got the 7 digits right but forgot that it was a free call. So now there's a quick & short 800 followed by the famous numbers. I can bare his commericals but Applicance Direct is one of the annoying ones-blah.
