Ap rates w/ an Arrival on Fri or Sat

How has it been for folks arriving on a Fri or Sat night and using an AP rate? Are they allowing you to still get the rate or do you have to arrive Sun-Thurs?

I'm arriving on April 9th and had no problem getting the AP rate.

I went the next to last weekend of January and arrived on a Saturday. I asked about whether or not I could use the rate and the reservationist said that most weekends the rate would be extended. So.... call and ask. Chances are good the rate will be valid on Fridays and Saturdays as well.

I suspect the check-in rule is usually only enforced with guests who would otherwise make weekend-only trips, come in Friday, leave Sunday, know what I mean? If you're arriving on the weekend but staying 5 or more days., they'd probably extend the rate to you.

I'm arriving Good Friday at Port-Orleans Riverside and got the AP rate for the entire trip
