Is that possible? Can you get an AP rate for a hotel room at DLP? I'm thinking of getting my first AP because I will be in Florida a few times this year... I thought a friend of mine had an AP once and got a rate for the hotels over there...

Any idea?

not at all . Disneyland Paris and Walt Disney World don't work together even if they share the same name '' Disney '' . Disney Company has only 40% shares in ''Euro Disney SAS ''.

Disneyland Paris is a separate company called '' Euro Disney SAS " so Disneyland Paris pays for the rights of the names and characters and everything but there is no advantage for WDW APers .

I agree that would be cool to have also Resorts Discounts for Disneyland Paris AP at WDW .

Annual Passes are only good for the resorts they are purchased at:

DL = DL
DLP = DLP
WDW = WDW
TDL = TDL
HKDL = HKDL

I wish they had an international or even better life passport like Legoland (good at all Legoland Parks around the globe for life $1000).

However, if you are planning on going in the parks for 3 days or more, I recommend the DLP AP. Discounts on rooms aren't great though, but they are good on restaurants and shops.

Just a heads up - unless they have changed something - DLP doesn't permit anyone outside of France to purchase AP's -- perhaps you need to live in a certain x-kilometer radius - but I go to DLP several times a year for a few days while in Paris, and have been refused AP purchase because I don't live locally. When I tried to use my friends address which I use on my carte Orange and other places, they asked for citizenship papers. Without them, no AP.

That's not true at all. We have had APs for 8 years and are renewing this year - we live in the UK.

There are three levels of AP and the cheapest is for locals only (hence the need for papers). But anyone can buy a Fantasy Passport (with restricted days and less perks) or the Dream Passport which is good all year, gives free parking, free wheelchair/pushchair/stroller rental, 10% off in shops and restaurants, 1/2 hour early entry to fantasyland, free kir royale or orange juice at the table service restaurants, and 20% for one meal and one day of shopping!
