Hi all,

I have a trip this November and a trip in August....I'm at the break even point for an AP....

Are the "perks" worth the AP?

We are doing MVMCP in November...what kind of discount will I receive on those tickets? I'm buying 6!

What other discounts do AP holders generally get?

It's $4/person off for MNSSHP. You get free parking as an AP and some merch discounts

My personal opinion, only get an AP if you will break even on admission alone. The only benefits I would even consider sticking into the equation are parking and possible the availability of TiWL. Every benefit the AP has can be taken away without notice. Room with an AP discount are in no way guaranteed and merchandise discounts commonly fluctuate. If you must have something like a room discount to make the AP work, you are setting yourself up for disappointment.

I added up my ticket prices for both my trips and I will be paying 807.27 total....I think AP is the way to go....

Our calculation for AP comes down purely to admission costs. We basically broke even on our first trip (we ended up doing 14 days at WDW). For us, all of the other things: free parking, merch discount, and to an extend, even Tables in Wonderland are "extras".

That said, AP is a bit like buying into Amazon prime. It makes us tempted to spend ALL our vacation dollars at WDW and possibly make more trips to WDW in a given year. Otherwise we might have gone somewhere else. But who am I fooling? Even without the AP draw, we'd be going to WDW before anywhere else anyway!
