AP Question - this makes no sense!!

Luckily, my sister, who has an AP, isn't going til Sept. She received an email from Disney, this afternoon. It stating it was sending her the AP discount codes 24 hours ahead of when it was being released to the public so she could make her ressies and avoid the rush. I popped in over here, to give anyone waiting for the codes a "heads up", only to see that you guys knew about it LONG before Disney gave her the "advance" warning. Does this make sense to ANYONE???

AP Rates for Septmber have not been released yet. The rates released today were only good 4/17-7/4. I know this because I am also going to Disney in September and I am anxiously awaiting for AP rates!!

The info was leaked to us...Disney was just giving a heads up about their offical release. I think the "heads up" just means we get a leg up as people who subscribe to the email list as well as are AP's.

I'm calling for my ressie right now. ;)

How can Disney give AP holders an ADVANCE email notice after the codes are released?? By the time she got the email, there was nothing left. :hammer:

As I said, they were not released (i.e. available to use) until today.

They were leaked, as in the information got out unoffically before the offical advance public notice. Travel agents, etc., tend to get a bit more than the public and some of them are kind enough to share it here.

All I know is that I was able to get a discount for POR and ASmu and saved about $260 for the week...

It was stressful, but I am very happy now.

I saw it on here at 715 this morning....

I never received the email from Disney

Maybe I'm not expressing myself clearly.............her email stated that she was getting advance notice BEFORE the codes would be available to be used..........according to the email, the codes should not of been able to of been used til tomorrow. :brick: I'm not talking about codes being leaked out. I'm talking about the codes actually being accepted.

Like I said, she is not going til Sept. Since I am the one who makes all her ressies, then goes on the scavenger hunts to find the codes, I'm not relying on Disney to tell us when they codes are coming!! :p

I got the same email at 10:30 am this morning. I think that the AP holders need to give guest communications a nice little letter. My email said advance 24 hour notice. I got wind of the FICASO last night and called to reserve my room for apply the rate today--and succeeded last night. I can feel where you are coming from and I think an email to guest communications is in order.
