So for our next trip in august we have everything booked except for out Disney Tickets, i was leaning towards the AP however how would we go about linking it to our Disney experience app and also what happens with regards to magic bands ( i.e customization)
for a UK 21 day pass is £610 (based on 1.66 exchange rate, its $1009.67) for 2 adults, this includes all the parks (even the typhoon lagoon and blizzard beach), Disney quest etc and the ability to sort our magic bands out. we wont be going next year so that's not an issue. i was just wondering what you all think works best, the main concern for us is obviously to do with the Magic bands as last year we used them and really enjoyed it.

Thank you in advance.

I'm assuming there are no restrictions against a UK resident buying a Premium Annual Pass, but that would be much cheaper especially with a DVC discount. We linked our Premium Annual Pass to our magic bands with no problems.

Hiya,

We brought an annual pass in November last year (before the amazing discounts that are now available although we got the dvc discounts) we are going again in October for 3 weeks so that will mean we have had 6 weeks from our annual passes!! If your going again next year then plan to get the premium annual pass!
However if your getting an annual pass you pick them up on arrival ( you need ID with you when you pick them up) but that means that you don't have the pass numbers on the back of the tickets to link with your magic band until you arrive. Although they work perfectly and we had no issue whatsoever ever! It's something you need to weigh up I guess - do you make ur fastpass reservations before you arrive??

Does that help?

The good news is that if you are willing to make the investment they are allowing members to buy the AP and not activate it until their current APs expire. We didn't have an AP, but called in with a bunch of questions about the offer and they told us that!

This is very interesting indeed and actually quite good. Although can you activate them when you make your first visit and not when your current AP runs out? Or not?

I know that there was an offer last year that did that but you had to activate before a certain date.

According to the person we talked to there was no deadline to activate. As long as she as right...

Hi there. No, you should not have a problem linking your APs to your account and using it for FP+. Also, keep in mind that an AP will get you a 10% merchandise discount. Have fun :)

For that price, get the Premier Pass and find a way to take a trip to California as well sometime in the next year.
