The problem is that the cash registers are not tied into the ticketing system, which they would have to be to check that. The ticketing servers also likely would not be currently able to handle the load of checking the tickets on a MB every time one is scanned at a gift shop or restaurant. It would require even a lot more behind the scenes work on the retail systems to make this happen. It may eventually, but think years down the road.
