Anyone know if the AP Lounges have re-opened?
Are lounges only at Epcot and AK?
I know the Epcot lounge is located at the Land but where is the lounge located at AK?
Only 20 days left!!!

WHOA, hold on.
I'm an AP holder, and I thought the lounge in Epcot was closed last year and gonna be reopened in a new section of the park. Has it been reopened in it's original place in The Land??????
And what about the AP lounge in AK?

Not that I have anything against AP holders.... but....

I can honestly say I think I spend more money at wdw in a week, than a Local AP holder does in a year...

So where is my special lounge?  :animwink:

If you're spending a week at WDW it might be cheaper to buy an AP, than pay regular ticket prices. My tickets were paid off after day 4. :D . And that was within the first month :D :D !

I will need an 8 day park hopper pass. I will not be going to any water parks, but I will be going to DisneyQuest (which I know is not covered by the park hopper plus).

Am I better off buying an AP?

Generally, yes especially if you stay on property by using the discount

They have not announced a specific discount for the time you're at WDW, but generally this discounts are about 40% off the room rate.

For the deluxe resorts, the break even point is usually around 4 nights for two people. i.e. It's cheaper to buy and AP for one person, a park hopper for another, and discounted room for 4 nights than buying 2 park hoppers and undiscounted room for 4 night. For a more detailed breakdown go to http://www.wdwig.com/breakeven.php

But discounts are not gaurenteed as people going this past September found out.

You might get lucky and have disney come out with a new fairytale package for May. Buy 4 nights, get 3 free and just add on an 8th night.

Thanks for the info. We are staying 11 days (3 at AKL and 8 at the Poly). It seems like the AP is definitely the way to go.

One more question, do you know whether the discount can be applied to a trip that has already been booked. Otherwise, I'd have to cancel my trip and re-book (assuming I could get the same days).

I am not 100% sure but I believe you would have to cancel and re-book. Disney comes out with these discount codes every now and then. However they only give you certian dates you can use them and they usually only announce these things like a month or two before the dates they will let you use them

Slightly off topic but has anyone ever lost their AP before? I just recently had mine destroyed by an evil 2 year old...they will replace it if i go to Guest Relations with photo ID, right? (Thats what a CM fromt he pass hotline told me at least)
