AP Lounge extended

Good News!!:sohappy:

We just got back from WDW today and we were at EPCOT yesterday and visited the AP lounge. The attendant there told us that Disney has decided to extended the AP lounge till fall of this year....that also includes the VIP viewing area for Illuminations for AP's. I asked her for a specific date but she just said "The fall, September." So no definite date at this time but at least extended past 4/30, which was the original end time!!!

BTW.....we had a Blast!!!!! :sohappy:

The Annual Passholder lounge will stay open to September. I know because I was there last weekend.

If you can dream it - you can do it

I really don't understand why they'd take it away. What would it be used for?? and what was the original purpose for buildng it if the lounge would just be "taken away" a few months after it opened.

Yes, It's the "passholders lounge" so it works for annual or season pass holders. In fact they never even ask to see your ticket, they just ask if you are anual or seasonal.

Hmm, I've been up there 2-3 times, and each time was the same guy sitting at the desk who just simply asked "annual or seasonal?" and then thanked us for our reply and checked a mark in a log. I Never had to pull them out of my wallet or anything.

I was told by the castmembers when i was there in March that it is the VIP area for Frito Lay employees, but they did not need
it as of this time.
