AP Discounts in Late August

Hi All-
Does anyone have any idea when AP discount would be out for late August (i.e. around Aug 21st)?? We really wanted to book it soon and thought it was coming out but the most recent discount was only good till the 1st week of August. Can anyone provide any info? Thanks!!

You can always book now and call back to update the rate later. That's the safest bet if you want to guarantee a room.

We, too, are considering Fall (Sept. maybe) and are keeping a look-out for the AP rate, but seeing as the "until Aug. 1" offer just came out, I wouldn't expect to see one for another month or so.

Hi all, Yes you can absolutely book a room now at the rack rate to insure you have a room. Will that exact resort, room type etc be available if an AP discount comes out? the naswer is a firm maybe. Booking up rooms in the hopes of switching them to a discounted rate is iffy. If you HAVE to go then, and would pay for the room at full rate, I say go for it to confirm the resort and room type. If not, Id wait until the rates come out and see what is available then. Also if Disney sees that a a lot of rooms are booking up at full rate, a discount may not be offered at all. By pre-booking a room, waiting for a discount, you may be hurting your chances for one!!!! Best of luck! Belle
