AP Activation

Okay, I need so questions answered:

1. Do I activate my AP at guest services (I'll be doing it at AK)?

2. How long does activation take?

3. Do I have to fill out forms? I know I have to give them my address and stuff for the Passporter...

4. Does the fact that I bought it through AAA make a difference?

Thanks in advance!

I assume since it is an AAA discounted one, that it is the same size as a ticket with a bar code. If this is the case, you can go to any ticket window at any park. If this is not the case, they might re-route you to Guest Relations (to the side of the ticket windows at DAK--far left side if you are looking at the enterance).

Bring your drivers license/ID and then they will put on your name, birthday, address, etc. onto your pass and print it for you. The process will take like 5 minutes. Always have your ID with you in case 1) your ticket doesn't work (unlikely) or more likely and more importantly, 2) if you lose your annual pass AFTER it is ACTIVIATED ONLY, then they can reprint it if you have a photo ID. (If you lost the card before activitation, it would be bad!)

Buying it through AAA won't make it easier or harder at all....just easier on the pocketbook! :) HAVE FUN!

Thanks!

I've kept my voucher in my wallet for the past month and checked to make sure it was still there every day. So far, so good!

About how long does the whole process take?

Activation takes about 5-10 minutes if it's just you....entire family might take 15 minutes or so.

You can activate at any guest services at any park or Downtown Disney or the TTC.

No forms to fill out...make sure you have as photo ID with you though.

I remember the "old" days when they did the photo ID's. You went into a room and they had one of those funky Polaroid cameras. They'd take your picture and then laminate it onto your pass. Even then, it didn't take very long.

I've still got a bunch of my old ones. Funny stuff

Do you remember how many years they did that?
