does AIM cost anything and how do you get it? Thanks guys and gals

It doesn't cost anything. Just go to the AOL website and download it to your computer. You don't have to be an AOL member to get it.

Its great I can talk to ppl that are far away and it doesnt have to cost anything on my phone just an internet bill :lol:, but its great. I talk to alot of ppl on this message board and talk to my friend in FL.

AIM works well, and is also available for the Mac. One tip tho, if you use it at work, be sure to mute the sound.

If you know people on more than one IM network, then Trillian is a good alternative. It handles MSN, AIM, Yahoo, ICQ and IRC all in one client

I've had AIM for about a year now, although I don't spend much time on it. Actually I have to look up my screen name and password everytime I go on.
