AOA location and bus

Hello!!
I'm asking for a friend who is not on the boards: he is booking Art of Animation. What room location do you guys prefer? He has a 6 year old son and they prefer to be near the bus (not food court necessarily). Also, about how many bus stops on average to get to parks from AoA? Thanks!

Is he booked in a suite or Little Mermaid room?

AoA has direct bus service to the parks. Exception would be at stopping at Blizzard Beach before AK or Typhoon Lagoon before DTD.

My family was blown away by the theming of the Cars section of AOA. Walking thru that section and taking pictures was awesome! We stayed last summer in a value room in the Little Mermaid section, but enjoyed exploring the entire grounds and swimming in the big blue pool. Busing is right out thru the main building which also houses the food court. Busing was never an issue as we are early risers and tend to head back to the room mid-afternoon for a break and then head back to the parks late afternoon until night!

If he is in a suite: finding Nemo is centrally located.

If Little Mermaid standard room- that section is at the far end.

I second the Cars section at AoA. To me, it has the best theme for both children and adults. The colors are toned down and not all "in your face" like the Nemo section, also there's a small pool with little "cone cabanas" that are fantastic. If you can get into building 1, your not that far away from the buses.
