Anyone Superstitious or Have Any Quirks?

Is anyone here superstitious here or have any strange "Quirks" ??

I have a few and just wondered if anyone else had any.

I will NOT walk under a ladder for ANY reason. I'm afraid it will bring me bad luck.

I wont go to bed with a knife on the kitchen counter or in the sink.
(Call me crazy... but I want a burgler to open drawers and make alot of noise in order to FIND a knife to kill me.) :animwink:

When I shoot basketball in my driveway, I won't quit and go inside until I make 3 straight baskets. (Not sure why I do this...I think it's just a gimmick to get me to excercise a little longer.)

I have to have my $$ bills in my wallet in order...low denominations on the right, high demominations on the left. (with the faces all in the same direction of course!)

Just a few..I probably have more "Quirks" I'll post them as I think of them....ANYONE ELSE or am I the only Crazy person here?:lookaroun

OCD...obsessive compulsive disorder.

Sorry...my wife is a marriage/family therapist and i have a degree in sociology.....had to get that out or I'd go nuts

yep... I've got a few... I do my money the way you said too, but also when I use a public restroom I will NOT touch the flusher with my hand... I use my foot... then when I wash my hands I get the papertowels out first, then turn on the water... gotta wash my hands 2x... I always had my kids say the alphabet while they were washing... then rinse, dry, then turn off the water faucet with my paper towel, open the door with my paper towel, and then throw it away... how OCD is that??

I was taught that by my boss at Disney. You know your hands are clean if you wash them that long!

Let's see...these aren't my superstitions but of the chinese culture.
*You'lll rarely see a 4th floor in any high rise. It's the equivalent of 13 in the US. 4 is a synonym to the verb 'to die'. :zipit:
*8 & 3 are good luck numbers. 8 is a synonym to the word wealth. and 3 is a synonym to thrive.
*Watches are rarely given as gifts due to the notion that you're telling a person thier 'times up'

As for my quirks...I'm not really superstitious but I believe in cleanliness. E.g. I too use a napkin/towel to open washroom doors. it's digusting to touch a door where others go and walk out of a washroon. ICK

I do the basketball one. Or if Im playing racquetball I wont get off till I get a kill shot

Well I don`t know if you would call it supersticious,but I once went to a my life with the thrill kill kult concert and and they had a guy go on stage on a cross supposedly like Jesus and they had a woman that was supposedly Mary Magdalene and she ahem... satisfied him I got a sick feeling in my stomache and I had to get out of there,I told my friends,I`m outta here and I left. I felt like God was going to strike me down with lightening or something.
