I was at Pop Century from July 30 through August 3. We were in the 80's building near the pool. It wasn't that bad of a resort, but not what I'm used to at POR. Overall, I'd give it about a 7 or 8 out of 10 for kid/teen likeness. For adults, I'd recommend staying somewhere else.

thanks everyone for your comments me and the wife hope we have good time it sounds like thers alot of kids stay here, that doesnt bother me but is the any romantic things that couples can do. we like to do the parks all day but late night s swim after 9pm and then maybe get strawberry dacuir and a dessert after that can you give me some ideas ?
also is the 50s 60s 70 s or 80s best or shorter walk to the food court, i tell ya my legs have bad circulation and am pretty big guy after long day at the park i want the shortest walk to the room?

I think what Yellow Shoes is trying to say is that it all depends on if you plan to be around your resort for a long time durring the day. If you plan to use your room just to sleep, a value resort would suffice. If you want to be pampered in a lush, detailed setting, one of the moderate or deluxe resorts would be better.

As for myself, when I go to WDW, it's for the parks and shopping. I don't spend a lot of time at the resort so I always stay in a value resort. Makes more sense to me on my pocketbook.

I'm a park guy too, but I have stayed at Pop and a couple of the All Stars, and after being at the parks all day surrounded by kids, going to back to hotels full of them just drained me. Although, since I'm a Florida resident and a premium passholder, the price difference in the rooms isn't a big deal.

Thanks to Hurricane Frances, we ended up staying there for 1 night last week after 3 nights at All Star Movies and 5 nights at Old Key West.

I LOVED it. The rooms are pretty much the same as All Stars, except the beds are a bit nicer, and the TV is bigger.

The food court is huge. The pools are nice.

I had reservations for All Star Movies in february, and I switched it to Pop Century because I liked it so much.

2 minor problems:

1.Check in line was over an hour long. That sucked.
2.It's VERY crowded, so wait time for the buses seemed to be longer than average.
