Anyone seen Scuttle lately?

After our last few trips / going on the Little Mermaid ride we noticed that the animatronic for Scuttle never appeared.
You know the one in the que when you first get inside. Just above the little crab collecting items from the movie.
Introducing the Mermaid story line.

Has anyone seen Scuttle or has he been relegated to the grave like our Yetti?

I didn’t see him a month or so ago, but then I did see him a few weeks ago. Off and on, it seems.

I was in the MK this past Wednesday and Scuttle is back.
I went to see if he was still missing, and there he was back in his ‘crows nest’ in the queue area.


He was moving better then I have seen him move in years…he must have had some work done on him.
Only downside was his show spotlight seemed to be off.
So he was in the dark somewhat in the cave, even though I visited in the daytime.

Nice to see him back.
I also noticed he was missing about this time last year.

I was in the Magic Kingdom 8/28 and 8/29 and he was there both days functioning properly. Took a video of him as well, as he looked better than I'd seen in years.
