Anyone purchase discounted tickets?

I recall reading a thread several weeks back (although I can't find it now) discussing purchase of discounted tickets. I'd like the opinions of anyone who has done this. Looks like I can save a fair amount of $$'s by using Orlando Fun Tickets. Has anyone used them?

Tickets are not an area that you will save a ton of money at. Re-sellers like Maple Leaf will shave off a few bucks for multi-day tickets but any steep discounts typically involve a timeshare presentation or flat out fraud. Regardless of what you decide, make sure you look at the final price including shipping, tax, etc. It is not uncommon all of your savings vanish when you get the final price.

I am planning on using Undercover Tourist via Mousesaver's newsletter link. I compared with Orlando Fun Tickets, and Undercover Tourist comes out 15$ less for our IOA tickets (1-day base tickets for 2 adults + 2 kids). I don't know about WDW tickets, as I booked with a package.

Think for yourselfer
Undercover tourist through the Mousesavers newsletter usually has the best prices you can get. We use them exclusively on our trips. Never an issue.

I've used Undercover Tourist a few times. No issues at all with their service or their prices. As Yoda said, if it sounds to good to be true, it probably isn't. Most of the resellers will save you between 5-30 bucks or so over the span of the ticket. Anything much more than that, something probably isn't kosher. Stick to one of the reputable resellers and you should be fine.

There was an article a few issues ago in "Orlando Attractions" magazine about this. The gist of the article is that any legit ticket discount will save you only around 5%, maybe 10% maximum...except for the exceptions that Master Yoda pointed out, such as timeshare presentations. More than that and it is probably fraud. In the Orlando/Kissimmee area, you may see these balloons advertising cheap tickets. The author of the article was explaining that places like these generally buy up unused tickets from guests and sell them for really cheap. Problem is, #1, it's illegal. #2, unless the no expiration option is purchased, those unused days will be expired by the time you buy the ticket. #3, even if the days aren't expired, the ticket won't match your fingerprint at the turnstyles and it still won't do you any good.

Don't forget to see the tax added in when you go to their shopping cart. It looks to be the same pricing as many of the other discounters.

Thanks, I plan on using Undercover Tourist for my August trip

Make sure you sign up for Mousesavers.com newsletter. They send out a news letter in the middle of every month and they include a link to Undercover Tourist that will have a little bit better discount on tickets than what you see on Undercover Tourist's site normally.

We did the discounted tickets from Undercover, and saved about $17 per ticket, so it was a little over $50 in total. On our last day we upgraded the tickets to annual passes and received credit as if we had paid the full price from Disney.

To add to the original question: When you buy tickets from a third party, can you get those loaded onto your Keys to the Kingdom, or do you have to separately manage the tickets? I'd much rather have one card to keep track of (in addition to my DW's and kids').
