...has any idea when Disney will release it's Dining Plan for '09? WE tried booking Hoop De Doo today and were told that we had to pay up front because the Dining Plan had not been released yet. Anyone else have this problem before? They said when plan is announced they'd credit us back the price. don't really want to do it that way.

2009 rates and packages, INCLUDING the Disney dining plan are usually released towards the end of the summer. Look for rates to be released sometime next month (August).

yikes! thanks for sharing. I am making my ADR next week when my window opens up...I was not prepared to pay for the HDDR upfront. Did the cast member happen to mention if this was required with CRT as well? I am glad that they will refund this however, I would much rather avoid the interest or keep that saved making my own interest! Seems like I hear alot of horror stories about getting the credit back. (Just that it takes forever.) Doesn't please me much, but I also do not want to miss the opportunity to schedule a couple meals that we are looking forward to.

Until the specifics of the Dining plan are known for 2009, I would imagine they would HAVE to do it this way. Belle
