Does anyone on this forum have Asperger's Syndrome? I do. As such, I have a very difficult time accepting change, which is one of the symptoms. Another symptom is being very literal, and again, that describes me very well.

So that's what this thread is about, if anyone here has Asperger's besides me.

I don't personally, but my bf does.. he takes a lot very literal as well (and very personal), like when his mom complains to him that her kids don't help out around the house with bills etc (his younger brother lives on his own, just got engaged and is working on his own life, while his older sister got a full time job and is saving to move out. He goes to school full time and pays his school bills, and neither of his parents work) he takes it as a personal attack on himself and feels like he is a failure to his family. But he's also the sweetest guy I know (not the most romantic, but the sweetest), and I wouldn't change him for the world. :)

@mharrington Apparently I actually have autism, but if you look at it, I've learned a big deal with regards to living as the normal people do. Sure I have my quirks and problems (social stage fright, anyone?) but at least, at least I am very excellent in other interests and talents (I am apparently a good writer, artist and even now, doog knowledge in all things Disney, and other things in particular.)

My 16 year old son has Asperger's. He has four primary interests to the exclusion of most everything else - Disney, art, science, and girls. He's quite successful with the first three and would love to be an Imagineer someday. We just got back from WDW yesterday, and he has grown much more tolerant of longer lines and new attractions.

The one thing he still can't fathom is why Disney changed the TTA narration. He gets very fixated on things like that - noticeable changes for the worse. He'll be writing Disney to complain ... again.

I have a tough time accepting change, which is why I have been writing up a lot on the issue of Toontown Fair closing, how everyone else here hated that land and how everyone else is trying to get me to accept change. But they don't understand.
