I'm seriously thinking about going here next fall and would like advice from anyone who has been there, done that, and got the shirt.

full sail just wants your money....most of those places are like that...

....try Columbia....Columbia here in Chicago has a great program :)

Just my 2 cents :)

As a computer animator...i can honestly tell you

STAY AWAY!! THE INDUSTRY IS DEEEEEEEEAD!!! Want proof? i can give you the list of "unemployed" animators...its quite quite long..and most of these guys are GOOD! So id say film is your better option...

and if thatas the case..no full sail...definatly not full sail. (both computer animation and film at fullsail are horrible)

there's a saying in the TV Industry about Full Sail...

"They have a lot of equipment... but they don't know how to use any of it"

And I'm sure that saying can be applied for their film and animation programs.

thanks everyone for your opinions. im just curious how the school stays open if its not all that good. 30K is a lot of money for me and i dont see how this place can stay open if its not churning out talent. does full sail have any decent prgrams?

My brother graduated from there a year ago and is now a recording engineer. He's doing pretty good. Actually got a job at "Bennett Studios" which is run by Tony Bennett's son.
