Anyone got reasonable travel insurance with a pre-existing medical condition?

Have been finding out more about WDW hols as something to look forward to but have found out from one insurance provider that we wouldn't get cover at all & another that it would be a £650+ supplement(!) which is going to be prohibitive for us.

Anyone else had this problem & managed to find a reasonable cover?

MamaHook,

I found reasonable trip insurance through a site called TripInsurance.com, that covered pre-existing conditions. They broker for several different companies and provide comparisons on coverage and cost for a variety of policies (they call them Good, Better and Best but basically each category offers different levels of coverage). I covered a 6 day Disney Land and Cruise vacation at the middle level for about $190 at the "Better" level which for what they presented me did not exclude pre-existing conditions and covered me and two teens.

They are based in the US, so I'm not sure if they cover UK citizens, but it may be a place to start looking at any rate.

Best of luck.

When buying insurance for cruise vacations I use insuremytrip.com. Definitely less expensive then what the cruise lines sell and better coverage. Not sure for UK but it's worth a shot. Good luck!
