Anyone go to Pin things???

Hey all,

It seems that pin talk is not a big topic on here....but have to break the line down at some time. Has anyone go to any of the pin events? My gf and I are flying down for the Tink event in 2 weeks and was wondering if anyone from here would be there? I have been into pins for years but have been into prue Disney longer but have to mix the 2 at times I guess. Anyway we will be down at the Contemp. Starting the 16-18 of this month (July) and hope to be able to put some faces with all the great names on here.

You said you'll be there from the 16-18 of the month, but you didn't mention when you'll be there until. On the 24-25 is this forum's official meet. You might want to check this out to get all the details

I went to the Official Pin Trading Celebrations at Epcot in 2001 and 2003 and both of them were GREAT!! I didn't have to pay anything, except Epcot admission, to get in and get some great deals. If you pay for an event you get EVEN more and you ensure youself of being able to get certain pins. I am planning on going again in 2005, if any event is like this one, it will be AWESOME!! The Official Celebration is usually at the end of September.

I want to go the Tink event but I cant go. I am big into pins. I have a ton of pins. I have all the mission space pins and last years 4th of july pins. You should go to the contemporary on friday and i forget what day is at the boardwalk. I cant wait until October for some major pin trading.

I've dabbled a bit in the pin collection hobby, but I haven't gotten any new ones recently. But I have a whole Toy Story/Toy Story 2 collection that took me forever to complete.
