Hey guys, my dad just got a job in Philly and I will be living where I am now, but I'm going to be going to visit him on occasion in Philly. Anyway, just wanted to know what we should check out and such. I already have Hershey on my to-do list, anything else?

Hershey park, Dorney Park, and Great Adventure are close. Go visit the new ballpark and see a Phillies game. There is Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell. Grab a cheesesteak while your in town. Go to South Street / see a concert at the TLA. The Philadelphia Zoo is popular. You could visit the Art Museum or the Franklin Institute. King of Prussia Mall is real close if you like to shop and you won't find many malls bigger. That's all I can think of right now.

Hey! I'm from south jersey, but I consider myself a philly gal.
DEFINATELY go see a Phillies game. The ballpark is terrific!!!!!!!!!!
I agree with tmp. Also go to the jersey shore to walk on the boardwalk in ocean city, wildwood, or atlantic city. It's not too far!
The philly zoo is AWESOME! Go see that!!! :) Watch the polar bears swim!!! If you like shopping, or eatting outdoors, or parks in the middle of cities, Rittenhouse square is a nice area to visit. Around Christmas, be sure to visit Market street. At 8th and Market there is a huge strawbridges. Inside and up on the 4th floor (i think) is an awesome walk through "A Christmas Carol" story. Also, down a few blocks toward City Hall on the left is Lord & Taylor. Inside they have a really cool light show and organ concert for christmas. Programs run on the hour. :) (can you tell I go every year?)
