anyone ever go to the world in March? Then I have questions for you

My dad and I are going down to the world March 4th. We are staying at the Yacht club (first time- we are DVC members who usually stay at Beach Club Villas) How are the crowds around this time? I know it's ESPN the weekend for the first few days we are there but other than that should I be experiencing ridiculous crowd levels? Also how is the weather at that time? We normally go around May or August so this is new for us. I already checked and most everything will be up and running (I think) so that shouldn't be a problem. I'm mostly worried about crowd levels.

Look at my signature at the bottom, it tells you when I have gone to WDW. Other than 2009, I went in March. I went generally at the time that Canadians have their spring break. It is busier in March then it is in September I can say that for sure. Not that WDW is ever NOT busy, but even if you drive on the roads, you notice the difference.

Expect higher crowd levels and utilize your fastpasses better. We didn't use a fastpass once in September 2009. We used lots in March 2010.

We go every year during March... as far as crowds go, there not bad. We went one time in June and the crowds in March don't even touch that month. Very little wait most of the time. Weather.. cool in the morning and night but HOT during the day with very little rain. Hope that helps!!

Yeah you should definitely be good. I imagine there will be some people in town for the ESPN thing but then empty out on Sunday, and you're going to be there just before the college spring breaks too. In regards to weather, it should be good. Hope you guys have a great time.

I see you are arriving the same day as us...and probably hundreds, if not thousands of fellow Canadian Spring Breakers. If things hold true to our first 3 trips, all during Canadian Spring Break, expect HUGE crowds and LONG wait times. We have yet to even ride Toy Story Midway Mania and are lucky if we even get to ride Soarin' once our whole trip thanks to the parks being so crowded and Fast Passes being exhausted very early in the morning.

Still, after saying all that....NOTHING BEATS SPRING BREAK AT WDW!!!!!:sohappy: Hope you have a GREAT trip, and here's hoping the weather is nice and warm for the both of us the whole time! :wave:
